9/18/07 - HC Annual Meeting Recap

On September 17th the Highland Creek Community Association (HCCA) held its annual meeting at the Sports Club.  The meeting was attended principally by neighborhood representatives.  There were also a few other homeowners at the meeting.

The Highland Creek (HCCA) financials were reviewed.

The election to the HC board was held and the following four people were elected:

 Jeff Bennett (reelected)
 Randy Buck (reelected)
 Heather Casselberry (new Board member)
 Terri Edmiston (new Board member)

Also on the agenda was the election of Neighborhood Voting Members.  The Falcon Ridge Neighborhood Voting Members for 2006/2007 were Linda Carino (voting member) and Norman Whiteside (alternate).  As a result of your votes the Neighborhood Voting Members for 2007/2008 are Paul Williams (voting member) and Louis Wilhelm (alternate) Falcon Ridge voting members.  Thanks to all who took time to send in their vote.

And on the agenda was a proposal to amend the Highland Creek By-laws to make three (3) year terms for the Highland Creek Board members.  As Jeff Bennett described the amendment it is a way to keep experience and continuity of the HC board.  Each year three members of the HC Board would be elected for a term of three (3) years.  The HC Board consists of nine (9) members.  The voting results on the amendment will not be known until some time in October.
